The Olympus Portfolio

The Olympus portfolio is a tough challenge for any budding photographer. Have you got what it takes to put together five fabulous shots, linked by a great idea, location or subject? If so, then this is the category for you!

Picking a strong theme is your first step towards success. This could be about a particular species, all the animals in your favourite location or perhaps five different shots of your pet. You will need a good range of photographic techniques and be able to show this across five different images. One bad shot will spoil all your hard work, so choose your portfolio images carefully and take lots and lots of images. Its a good idea to ask for help in choosing the best ones and remember that they must all be different and special. Well, we did say it was a tough challThe Olympus portfolio finalists 2009enge....

A quick rundown of the rules...

  • Make sure you have taken the photo you entered; entering someone else’s photo is not allowed.
  • If you are aged 16 or under you will be asked for a parents/guardians e-mail address when you register. An e-mail will then be sent to your parent/ guardian with a link to activate your account and agree to the rules, without this you won’t be able to upload photos.
  •  Do upload the biggest file you have of your photo, the bigger the better.
  •  Don’t photoshop or change your image, we like them just the way they are .
  •   Entry is free.
  •  Make sure you upload your pictures before 00.01am on Tuesday 7 September 2010 (GMT)otherwise it will be too late.
  • Only create one account, if you create more than one you may be disqualified.
